I have been one of the long arm quilters for two years.
In 2003 Ron moved to Houghton Lake after retiring. A few months later he convinced me to marry him and move up north!
My second love is fishing and every day that I am not sewing I am at the lake.
I was hard leaving my two sons, their wives and my four very dear grandchildren.
Needless to say, I go down state as much as possible!
Also, with Ron, I inherited three additional children and seven grandchildren.
As for Caroline's...I stopped in for hand quilting needles and have never left! The people here are so friendly and helpful there are days when I have to MAKE myself leave.
